Laveno-Mombello bucket cable car (Lombardy)

If you're looking for an unforgettable experience while visiting Lake Maggiore, then the Laveno-Mombello bucket cable car should be on top of your list. This unique lift is one of the most popular attractions in the area and offers stunning views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding area.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Laveno-Mombello (Lake Maggiore) bucket cabel car:

  • It takes about 15-16 minutes to reach the top. This can be a nerve-racking experience for some, especially if your bucket stops in the middle of the mountain. Don’t panic, sometimes it will only stop for 10-20 seconds to let people who need extra time get on and off.

  • If an open cabin is a little too much to handle, you can ask for a closed cabin.

  • There is a free parking, but spaces are very limited.

  • At the top you’ll find: Restaurant, Bar, Hotel, Playground, Picnic area, Hiking trails, Amazing views.

Whether you're planning to stay for a few days or just passing through, this is the perfect way to explore one of Italy's most beautiful lakes. So make sure you don't miss out on this unique experience and add it to your Italian Lakes holidays!
