Compared to neighboring tourist destinations Lake Garda and Lake Como, Lake Iseo is virtually shielded from the outside world and remains quiet even during the holiday season, making it an ideal place for a family vacation in Italy. This is why, when we're craving a peaceful escape without the hustle and bustle, we choose Lake Iseo.

01
Playground in Sulzano: Lakeside Family Fun on Lake Iseo
To truly experience Lake Iseo, a boat excursion to Monte Isola, the largest inhabited lake island in Europe, is an absolute must. The ferry service from Sulzano operates 24/7, even during the winter months. While waiting for the boat, children can enjoy themselves at the playground located next to the ticket office, which offers a splendid view of the island.
02
Monte Isola Playground: Nature Play in the Heart of the Island
Monte Isola is an absolute must on your Lake Iseo trip. Its natural beauty is breathtaking, and if you enjoy spending time outdoors, Monte Isola is the perfect destination for you. Monte Isola offers a wide variety of activities. From boat trips around the island to biking and hiking, there is no shortage of things to do in Monte Isola with kids. Plan your day so you can take a break in Iremia Lounge Bar in Carzano. It is simple but in a very beautiful location with a playground. Good place to have a drink with snacks.

Sarnico Town Playground: Family-Friendly Park in a Charming Lakeside Village
Sarnico, situated on the shores of Lake Iseo, provides a delightful getaway for families seeking a serene and family-friendly environment reminiscent of Geneva. A must-see attraction in this charming town is the lungolago Sarnico, a stunning lakeside promenade that offers picturesque views and is ideal for leisurely strolls. Families with children will find the park Lazzarini (Giardini Pubblici Lazzarini) particularly appealing, as it features a playground where little ones can enjoy themselves while parents unwind at the adjacent café.
04
Sarnico Lido Nettuno Playground: Beachside Play Area with Lake Views
Another place we recommend in Sarnico is Lido Nettuno, which not only offers swimming opportunities but also a great children's playground. While there are no shallow areas for swimming at Lido Nettuno, families can enjoy the green areas and relax at the bar offering snacks and drinks.

05
Marone Playground: Monumento ai Caduti del Mare Park for Kids and Families
Between Iseo and Pisogne lies the lakeside town of Marone. Marone is an ideal place for hiking and mountain biking tours. Since the 16th century, Marone has been considered one of the most important industrial centers on Lake Iseo.
Today, Marone is famous for its olive groves, which has earned it the nickname "Oil City". There is a beautiful and well-maintained olive park behind the Monumento ai Caduti del Mare in Via Caduti del Marre 53, with a very nice and protected playground. Mountains and lake views plus adjacent to a bar/restaurant make it excellent for a family break, if you are passing through this area of Lake Iseo.
06
Playground in Pisogne: Lakeside Fun and Family-Friendly Green Spaces
The playground in Pisogne offers a relaxed and scenic spot for families looking to enjoy time outdoors along the northern shores of Lake Iseo. Set close to the lakefront, this play area features modern equipment suitable for different ages, shaded seating areas, and plenty of open space for children to run, climb, and play safely. Younger kids will especially enjoy the small tourist train nearby, which adds a fun and memorable experience to a day out by the lake.
Parents can unwind while taking in beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains, making it an easy and enjoyable stop for families. Plus, don’t miss the chance to take a beautiful walk up to the White Horse statue, a stunning sculpture that overlooks the lake — it’s a local favorite and a special spot to explore.
