You’ll find plenty of kid-friendly restaurants, gelaterias, and a lovely playground next to Il Chiosco – La Spiaggetta, perfect for a family break by the lake. In celebration of the patron saints Bartolomea Capitanio and Vincenza Gerosa, Lovere’s Piazza Tredici Martiri will be brought to life with a stunning light show designed by artist Giulia Neri.
The show will illuminate the square every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 2, 2025 to June 2, 2025 starting at 9:00 PM each evening.

Nestled on the northern tip of Lake Iseo, it has a spacious lakefront promenade filled with lovely art installations and a friendly playground where kids can play freely. What we especially love is that Pisogne is the perfect starting point for one of Italy’s most scenic and kid-safe bike routes — the traffic-free Vello–Pisogne path. It’s an easy, relaxing ride along the lake that the whole family can enjoy together. Plus, don’t miss the chance to take a beautiful walk up to the White Horse statue, a stunning sculpture that overlooks the lake — it’s a local favorite and a special spot to explore.
